- Shotgun
- Skeet shoots are now held on Sunday at 10am
- 5-Stand will be held on Tuesdays at 10am starting November 11
- Trap times will vary depending on weather. If you want to get day/time announcements, email trap@gcfga.org and ask to be added to the list.
- Similarly, the ‘retired guys’ skeet shooters meet when the spirit moves them. Email retiredguys@gcfga.org to receive their announcements.
- Rifle
- Indoor Rifle practice begins on December 30th. The ‘light gun’ shooters use traditional 22s with open sights and shoot a slightly bigger target at 50′. Shooters in the ‘unlimited’ class use rifles with scopes, bull barrels, adjustable stocks, etc. All are 22 caliber.
- Each Friday at 7:00pm, the indoor rifle team competes with shooters from Precision Valley Fish and Game in Perkinsville, VT. Location alternates between our Club House and facilities at the Precision Valley Club. (You do not have to be a member of the team to practice.)
- Pistol
- Indoor pistol is on hold at present pending a bit of reorganization. Practices will be posted on our calendar when they occur.
Our outdoor ranges (members only) remain open most of the time during the winter. However, they can be closed when frozen ground creates a safety hazard. Check the calendar for posted notices.
